We are active members of the NCPMA (North Carolina Pest Management Assocation) and the NPMA (National Pest Management Association). We are the only pest control service in the Jackson County, NC area.
We specialize in treating residential homes and commercial businesses for pests and rodents (limited to mice and rats).
Karson Walston, owner and founder of The Bug Lads started his journey in pest control in 2001. He then became licensed with the Department of Agriculture in 2004, working his way up to starting his own company in 2010.
As the company grew, certified route technician Russell was added to the team in 2018. His route tech credentials were received from the Department of Agriculture, specializing in residential properties.

Though we are based out of Sylva, NC, The Bug Lads service the following counties: Jackson, Haywood, Macon, Swain, and Graham.
Treatments are performed monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on your specific needs and budget.
The Bug Lads are licensed to perform termite inspections for both non-loans and loans, including the VA.
